Our restaurant, reserved to the guests that sleep at Lama di Luna, during the summer is located on the veranda that looks over the Murgia infinite landscape, filled by symmetric vineyards and millions of olive trees; during the colder months is located in the adjacent room where a wide fire place warms up the room. With the vegetables of our garden, the fruit of our trees, the eggs of our chickens and products of our area, our chef makes traditional apulian meals that make our guests taste the authentic local cuisine.


The restaurant is open only for guests staying in Lama di Luna from 10 April to 15 October 2020.

With hundreds years old olive tree as shady sentinels, our infinite pool looks over the green apulian flat-land. While diving in our pool, water and sky merge together, and the swallows, punctual Lama di Luna guests, dive to drink some water before facing a long travel. When reading a book at sunset, the silence of the wind coming from the inland is the frame of a beautiful masterpiece that every day with different colors, remains the show awaited by all of us at Lama di Luna.

Thanks to a collection of over two-thousands book, with the most ancient dating back to 1500, the Lama di Luna library is the ideal place where to sit comfortably and read in silence. The beauty of these old books, and the perfume of their old pages create a unique atmosphere. It feels like time has stopped. During wintertime, with the wood fire on, you would like to stay there forever, sitting comfortably on the sofa and watching the fire vibrate.

A wide 100 sqm multifunctional room with audio system and HD projection on a 4x2,2 meters screen, that besides being the cinema where every night are projected Italian movies, it is a room that can be used for different occasions. In fact the room, under request, can be turned into an event space, or a room for business meetings.

At Lama di Luna it is possible to organize private events, like photo shootings, business meetings, different kind of course and weddings. Between the activities that can be done at Lama di Luna there is the possibility to rent mountain bikes and city bike, do tastings of local tipical products, like extra virgin olive oil, and organize excursions to Castel del Monte and other natural and archeological sites. Furthermore it is possible, under request, to a massage session with a professional masseuse.

Lama di Luna is located at the margins of the Alta Murgia National Park, in a land rich of natural beauties. Fredrick II left us many castles, of which the most beautiful ones are Castel del Monte , located few kilometers from the masseria.an The historical centre of Andria, Minervino e Molfetta are characteristic for their narrow alleys that lead to hidden cathedrals and their bell towers. Trani and its cathedral facing the Adriatic Sea host one of the most suggestive harbours in Italy. Looking back to the second and third century b.C., Canosa was part of the Roman empire and it saw the Romans losing to Hannibal's troops at Canne della Battaglia. Today, the vases and amphoras found in the necropolis of this town tell us the story of this period. Half day or full day itineraries will allow you to see all of this without getting too far away from Lama di Luna.
